All classes will start with breath/body awareness followed by movement and will finish with final relaxation time

INTEGRATIVE MOVEMENT
Integrative Movement classes are for general health and fitness and not for rehabilitation. If you have any health issues or concerns or are being treated for an injury please contact Kimberley prior to booking in for a class.
- If you love Pilates, this is the class for you...
- The focus is to build a strong foundation of MOBILITY, STABILITY & STRENGTH to achieve better movement patterns for your daily activities (using Pilates principles )
- Focuses on quality of movement over quantity and progression over perfection
- You will move your spine in the 6 directions it needs to stay healthy
- We use resistance bands, foam rollers, small balls, stability balls and other light props during class

RELAXATION - a blend of RESTORATIVE & YIN
- In this class we will start with a DEEP RELAXATION practice to unwind from the day
- We may indulge in some gentle movements that will allow both the body and mind to calm and quiet in order to become still into a practice of meditation
- We will practice body and breathing awareness techniques that will support your meditation practice
- Mindfulness and meditation is being present from moment to moment without judging or criticizing what is there
- We will practice different ways to help still both the mind and body to help balance out the busyness of life
YIN YOGA
- If you love holding long yoga postures and mindful breathing, this is the class for you.
- YIN YOGA is a very relaxing and gentle way to release the deeper tissues ( fascia) of the body
- The focus is on lower back, hips, pelvis and rib cage where most of us store a lot of tension due to dysfunctional movement patterns or lack of movement (from sitting too much) or from doing other more vigorous activities (sports, running, weight lifting)
- Great for people who are very stiff, athletes or anyone who wants to slow down and breathe while holding long juicy stretches
- Yin yoga is also a mindful practice and we use the physical sensations felt in the body to hold our attention, while the breath helps to initiate deep release and relaxation
- BE prepared to have a great nights sleep after a Yin class.
RESTORATIVE YOGA
- If you are looking for a class to BREATHE and BE this is the class for you
- Restorative Yoga is a practice using props and postures held for longer periods of time to initiate deep relaxation of the body, mind and nervous system
- Restorative is beneficial in helping with daily stress and is a great way for people who go go go to slow sloooow slow
- Helps to de-stress, reboot and restore your nevous system which will have flow on effects in your life
- It is a great way to unwind from your busyness and to take time for yourself
