FIRST
YOU need to make the time to come and learn - this is probably the hardest step as with family, work, life etc. there are always plenty of reason that stop us from making time for our self. Sometimes we put everyone else first on our to do list, but now is the time to learn why it is more important to fill your own tank first.
NEXT
YOU need to put on your detective hat to investigate how your body breathes, moves and relaxes. Before we can make changes we first need to become aware of what is already there and this is where we will explore and tune into our individual habits, patterns and compensations.
LASTLY
It is up to you how much and what you practice and we will talk about how to fit practice time into your life and busy schedules. No two people live the same lives, so it is super important to set yourself up for success and to find the right mount of practice that fits into your life and allows you to make the changes you need.

Why Attend a Workshop?
- Often we think we are breathing like a baby, moving like a graceful gazelle and relaxing like a panda, but in reality we often have breathing restrictions, walk like a duck and our body is completely running on adrenaline (the body chemical that is so not good for relaxation).
- Often these ways of moving and breathing are habits that are happening unconsciously and without our knowing. It is when we pause and start to take notice that we uncover these little diamonds of insight about our self. It is in these moments of self awareness that the magic happens and we begin to create different ways of breathing, moving, relaxing which leads to feeling better physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
- In the BMR workshops you will practice how to breathe better, move better and let go and relax. You will learn a little bit about anatomy (alignment) and physiology (how the body's systems work) so you have a better understanding of how everything is connected (ie. poor posture affects breathing efficiency which in turn can create mind and body stress which can cause physical aches and pains which can lead to poor sleep habits which can lead to emotional and mental disturbances) and it can go on and on.
- The awesome thing is that often when we change one thing in the chain it affects other things in the chain. So during the workshop you will learn and practice how to be MINDFUL which is a key ingredient in being aware of what is so we can have those A-HA moments that lead to change which leads us to Feel Better, Breathe Better, Move Better and Relax Better
